Women Traveling Solo Together

Oct 12, 2018

Join us for a 14-minute travel talk with Sharon Kurtz on today's episode of the Women Traveling Solo Together podcast!

When life’s not swinging the way you want it to, change your mindset look at different angles but don’t stop dreaming and chasing what you want.

Sharon Kurtz is a former career woman who owns a company that designs and manufactures stone wall art while raising her two sons. She was living her passion, but she wants to be free from the shackles of responsibility.

One day as she was scrolling through the internet, she discovered WTT. Like everyone else who were still in the beginning phase of not bing sure whether to jump in or not, Sharon took a leap of courage and just hopped on thinking this will change the course of her life - and it did!

She decided to become a WTT tour leader right after her very first trip. Her first tour leader trip was a challenge but she didn’t let it get to her. In every journey, misfortune is very common but don’t stop. Maneuver, shift your gears, then continue moving forward. It’s up to you to find beauty in the ugliest of days.

Key Takeaways:

  • Becoming a WTT tour leader and her husband’s stance on her current endeavors.
  • Sharon’s experience being a tour leader and how she handles difficult circumstances.
  • The unpredictable and unforgettable experience going to Yellowstone National Park.
  • Everything doesn’t always go as planned, be flexible and make the most out of every situation.
