Women Traveling Solo Together

Oct 19, 2018

Join us for a 15-minute travel talk with Gari Lugar on today's episode of the Women Traveling Solo Together podcast!

When you ask people what’s their favorite material possession that helped change their life, you wouldn’t normally get a passport for an answer. And it seems to be the case with WTT Tour Leader Gari Lugar.

Gari, a current tour leader at WTT for 7 years, shares how a simple object in the form of a passport brings simple happiness in her life. She decided to become a tour leader after an email popped up about tour leader training. Being the bubbly person that she is, she took on the responsibility believing she could do it and with the help of her dear husband who loves and supports her in all her endeavors.

She encourages everyone to go take on the trip, don’t ever hesitate when you travel and just go for it! It may sound funny but while our knees are still working, while our body still allows us to do some of those adventurous trips, go travel! The longer we prolong it, the more opportunity arising that gets in the way of us doing it.

If you have a passport, don’t let it sit wherever you’ve put them. Take advantage of it and explore the world!

Key Takeaways:

  • How the spouses of the women from WTT support them on their travels.
  • Gari Lugar’s favorite trip.
  • Ways on knowing the history of a place without going over the internet.
  • How her passport changed her life.
